I couldnt find this guy at first and i didn't know much about him. I got him on a whim. This figure is so great that Jazz has become one of my favorite characters now. BUY BUY BUY!
Autobot Jazz is an incredible update to the G1 version. He's got a show inspired look, great posability, and a swich looking alt-mode. The speakers are a really nice touch, and in general he just looks amazing. He loses half a star for the slightly clunky feet transformation, but that's the only flaw I can think of.
Nice representation of the G1 character, one of the better ones at least until a masterpiece version gets made.
This is arguably the perfect Jazz figure. Car mode and robot mode are both spot-on. The fold-out speakers are a nice touch, and having them on c-clips an even nicer touch.
This is an overall great figure. It captures G1 Jazz's essence perfectly, while also having some movie elements in his car mode. My favorite Transformers figure.
Man, oh man! What an awesome Jazz figure! The speakers are something that they didn't have to add in, so it's a very nice touch! One complaint I've heard is that his chest doesn't lock or tab in anywhere for his bot mode, but I don't think it's a big deal. Still a great figure!
Great mold and awesome take on Jazz. The fold-out speakers on his door wings are perfect, and really the only bad thing about it his how loose his head stays in robot mode.
Excellent update to the G1 Jazz, lacking on paint details but not too distracting. Excellent head sculpt also.
Amazing figure, that fits perfectly into any G! inspired generations display. The transformation flows nicely, and the figure gets quite a bit larger turning it into a robot. Super articulate and pose-able robot mode, extra fur alt mode. The speakers are a definitely a cool "jazz"y extra.
I like the design of this figure and it is a good addition to any collection. I think he looks good along with the others.
Really nice version of Jazz. Robot mode looks really good !!
Alt mode also looks really nice.
Nice additional bonus are the two speakers that cna fold out in both modes.
Amazing and all-around perfect update of the classic G1 Jazz into a modern toy. Wow, this is just amazing, and very much 'Jazz' through and through. From the paint apps to the head mold to the speaker weapons, it's all here. There's even someplace to put his blaster in alt mode, which is nice, as it means you won't have that loose piece floating around. His transformation is also very simple, but fun, and fairly intuitive so there shouldn't be much of a need for instructions. There is no reason, NONE, for ANY collector not to own this great figure.
This is one of the best Transformers toys to date. This mold should definitely be on any collector's short list. The only negatives would be lack of paint apps in vehicle mode.
This figure is amazing. It is a perfect updated look of Generation 1 Jazz. He is well articulated and has wonderful paint applications that really bring out that G1 look. Jazz has a terrific head sculpt which also holds true to his G1 self. His blaster tucks away in alternate mode like many other classics figures which is cool and he even has his speaker weapons much like he did in G1. The only thing that bugs me is that he is a little bit loose in places and doesn't tab in properly where he should. It isn't my figure but the way he was engineered. This is a minor complaint though and it doesn't stop me from giving this guy a 5 star rating!!
There were two packaging versions of the RtS Jazz. One had the blaster stored in the engine compartment in vehicle mode, the other had it below the vehicle in it's own blister mold.
A great update to a G1 classic! Figure sports an alt and robot mode that is heavily inspired by G1. The paint is nice and crisp, with no issues with bleeds, smudges or smears. The stripping and numbers are also very crisp and clear. He comes with a gun and a pair of awesome pop-out speakers, further adding to the figures G1 inspired appeal. Not an easy one to locate here in Canada, I had to order him from a store in the US, but he's so worth the price paid. If you can get him, do so, he is needed in every Transformers collection, no question...
A great update for an old favourite, this figure is very reminiscent of the G1 character. His alt mode is also a nice update that at least partially resembles his classic car mode.
very g1 looking in robot mode and in vehicle mode. Not 100% of course but still very nostalgic of the g1 series.
Awesome toy for a cool cat, dig? The Jazz-meister has never looked or felt so good. That articulation ROCKS.
i feel this could have been a better toy if it fixed teh problem of teh hood not attaching to teh body
I like the RTS series to the Classics and Universe line, the Transformations were very well thought out and the figures are well detailed and durable.
A great G1 Jazz Update, though it would've been better if Hasbro could've made him so the door's aren't visable in robot mode.
