I like this figure a lot. The arms are a little hard to get right, but the figure makes up for that by looking great on a shelf
A marvelous representation of the fan favourite G1 character. The design offers a great updated look, and looks great on the shelf..
Chrome? On a Hasbro figure? Whaaaaat? I'm not complaining! The chrome accents look nice and it's overdone!
The funky new alt mode works for Perceptor and he looks great in bot mode. Some people complain that his shoulders/arms don't really lock in in place but I don't think they're that bad. He's such a pain to transform back into his alt mode though.
Nicely done figure, homaging the G1 Perceptor and updated to a modern vehicle mode. Well designed and articulated.
I love this guy, I keep him with my WFC and FOC characters because his robot mode fits in quite well. The instructions and even the back of the packaging have his arms transformed stupidly.
Difficult transformation, and awkward looking alt mode, but I like this figure. The robot mode is uber G1, not to mention it PERCEPTOR!
I really like this figure. I am not in love with his alternate mode but He looks fantastic in robot mode. They even added the little microscope silver dials he had in Generation 1. It is a great update to his G1 model. The color scheme works perfect in my opinion and he is very articulated and represents Perceptor very well. Highly recommended to all you Classics collectors out there!!
first let me say this toy is not that made but it has problems staying togethe in bot robot and vehicle mode due to either having to squish things together or not tabs to hold parts into,
A nice update to a G1 classic. He transforms into a half-tread Hilux resrarch truck and comes complete with his shoulder mounted light ray. Vehicle mode is somewhat plain, but the robot mode is very nice, detailed and G1 inspired. This is a piece that needs to be in any Season 3 Transformers display as it is the niciest, most up-to-date version of the character we've had in some time...
As a collector's or display item, this figure is great, but for the love of god don't give it to a child as a toy. My nephew wound up in tears after apparently wrestling with this guy's transformation for some twenty minutes! So while mine looks amazing on my shelf, I have to take away points for this not doing well as what it's made as--that is to say, a toy.
Even though he's not a microscope, this figure really works well in giving Perceptor a classics update. The robot mode really looks like the G1 character, and his new alt mode can at least be viewed as some sort of scientific excursion vehicle.
A really fun toy that can not only hold his old toy's weapons, but Blurr's rifle too, ala IDW. A fun toy all in all.
I like the RTS series to the Classics and Universe line, the Transformations were very well thought out and the figures are well detailed and durable.
He's a good update to the G1 Percepter, but why is he a van and not a microscope? The Transformation's complex too.
