Reviews
Better than Bumblebee, and goes well with JaAm on toast for breakfast... oh wait, it's blue. Looks like the bread's moldy. :(
Hot spot makes better use of this mold then Bumblebee does. Yes he still has clown feet and it would have been nice had they clean that up a little. The other thing I dislike about this figure is the auto-morph gimmick is not that great.
The new head is great and the colors are fantastic.
A nice repaint and homage to the Unicron trilogy Hot-Shot, especially love the flip down goggles
CUSTOMISED (Silver paintwork on the rims and blasters)
Yet another Bumblebee release, except this time repainted as a different character for once. I got it to complete the line, and the colour is different enough to stand apart, but otherwise nothing special here.
They've stooped to calling Bumblebee repaints different characters to get us to buy them!
In all seriousness, a retool of Bumblebee with a new head, so if you dislike Bumblebee's body model or transformation, you'll probably dislike them just as much in blue, and vice versa if you love the little yellow stinger. On the whole though, he really does work, and makes for a nice homage to Hot Shot's 'blue' phase in the Cybertron cartoon. I find myself disliking the his headgear every bit as much now as I did in Armada, however, and tend to leave him in vehicle mode.
I am passively annoyed and amused that his vehicle mode detailing is done better than Knock Out's.
Kinda odd for this to be Hot Shot, since Hot Shot was yellow. I like this guy better than Bumblebee actually.
