Not the best First Edition figure of the line, Starscream is missing a few colour-cues from his cartoon representation, which is easily fixed with a little bit of paint. This figure excels in robot mode, but looks a little 'folded-up-robot' when transformer into his jet mode.
I'll probably catch some flak for this, but this is my favorite representation of Starscream. He's spiky, has a hunched posture, and always looks like he's scheming. Perfect for his personality! Jet mode looks good, and through a complex but interesting transformation, turns into a scrawny (in a good way) and very poseable Starscream.
Great figure and looks good with the rest of the line. More accurate than the Prime RID version. They should have extended this line
The first Transformers: Prime figure I picked up, and the one that got me hooked on the line. Complex, characterful, and true to the character. I would have liked to see a few more red paint applications, especially on the head-fin, and like many recent Transformers, Starscream is afflicted with the plague of floppy gray plastic.
The best Starsceam figure from the Transformers Prime toyline.
I bought two of them just so I could open up one for display and keep the other sealed.
-Show accurate colours
-Exclusive packaging w/display stand
-Great homage to bayverse screamer on chest
-Jet mode not realistic - major undercarriage kibble
-no bonus parts (e.g. projectiles, etc) unlike prior and subsequent deluxe figures
This figure is so great, I'm beyond happy there was a First Edition Starscream. I painted his head crest and missiles to be more tv accurate, since they are just solid grey. Jet mode looks kinda small but it's really a great alt mode.
This figure goes much better with the set of Prime figures we've gotten. The voyager version was out of scale with the other figures.
The First Edition StarScream does a great job representing the character in both modes, has a great transformation and is a fun figure to add to your collection!
I really can't complement this figure enough. It looks wonderful and simply oozes personality. If you're a fan of the show or character, I'd really recommend it over the Voyager figure.
In my opinion, a nice sinister Starscream. looks cools in eithor mode, transforms easily, nice coloring.
A wonderfully slick, posable Starscream toy, that scales almost perfectly with the Voyager Megatron from the same line for all your Decepticon display needs. While I have a few issues with his jet mode, they aren't unique to this toy, but mostly with the typical overload of underbelly kibble jet toys tend towards. You'll want to keep him in robot mode anyway; it's brimming with personality and has the articulation for some great poses.
I much prefer the Prime design for Starscream than the ugly one from the movies. It's still not classics seeker mold, but there's a lot more personality here, ans at least they added a few tiny red and blue paint apps for that small hint of G1 Starscream colour scheme.
he is an awesome toy. i picked him up during a sale and he is worth full asking price. with a cool vet mode he stand a little bit better then the voyager class
In my opinion the best PRime Starscream we've gotten. Much more size accurate and the paint is show accurate as well.
This is a great figure that is far superior to the voyager class. I wish the other seekers would come out in NA to complete the set.
Starscream is one badass figure. With a sleek jet mode and even sleeker robot mode, this is one deluxe worthy of the name Starscream. His transformation is pretty nice and overall aesthetics in both modes are great. While I do like his jet mode, it does suffer underneath, like most jet bots do. I do like that his wings can be angled in robot mode which I think adds character to his poses. He has a menacing feel about him that I do enjoy. Great figure.
