The very much Stormbringer comics inspired Thunderwing boasts a variety of weapons and his classic Pretender look

WAY to short for Thunderwing, and his hip joint is terrible, it moves a bit because it doesn't click in perfect with the rest of its body. Nice head sculpt though

Great Classics version of the pretender, Thunderwing. Great mold, and the huge combining guns along with the mini-drone edge it out over the traditional seekers.

A solid figure in both jet and robot mode. I love how he has two guns and can combine them into a super cannon thingy. I just wish his backpack folded up a bit more.

Another great generations figure, that fits perfectly into any G1 theme display. I was pleasantly surprised by this figure, as my expectations were low. This figure is fun to transform, very articulate and I love the drone ship for alt mode.

Based on the classic G1 Pretender, this particular version seems to be based off the IDW comics character. He would later be repainted into Generations Sky Shadow, with a new head sculpt. He transforms into an F-22 Raptor and both modes are clearly inspired by the classic G1 figure of the same name, in color and style. He comes with a pair of missile launchers and a drone module. This is a great update to the G1 classic and easily one of the best Decepticon figures to come out of the Generations line. Don't pass him up, you'll be sorry if you do...

This figure was executed almost perfectly - he should really have been a voyager-class toy, just because the G1 comics character seemed like such a larger-than-life Decepticon. It was much easier for the designers to translate this Pretender into the modern line, since he is a robot/jet Transformer who has (gasp!) a robot/jet Pretender shell. Consequently, the figure is a great rendition of the character design. And the removable drone is a nice added touch that harkens to the G1 toy.

A very fun toy, if a bit short for a mass murderer. I cannot wait for the 3rd party add-on kit for him.

this guy is a bit of a like or dislike figure. he is one of teh smallest of teh generation figures so its a toss up it you like this toy

Good looking figure with a brief yet interesting transformation. The removable drone is a great addition as well as a nod to the original G1 pretender but I am quite frustrated by the fact that the pegs on his guns keep popping out of his wings in alt mode.

This figure is awesome and looks great. I would highly recommend this figure to anyone collecting this line.

I like the Generations collection, the transformations are fun and the figures were thoughtfully designed
