Curator's Notes:

Downshift (along with Camshaft and Overdrive) was part of the first Transformers mail-away offer. For $5usd and 4 "robot points" each (off the back of TF packaging) fans could order any combination of the three well designed sports car warriors.

no packageing or tech specs to speak of they were mail order and so "new" they had not been developed yet. intestng figure not bad but very loose fitting white can yellow if your not careful transforms well so not bad

Another OmniBot - Downshift. He's plain and white, and not very interesting - he looks like the Go-Bot called Jig Saw. Diaclone/Diakron/Microman/Microchange in full effect here. Mail-aways are great collectibles. I recommend!

Another transformers mail-away. If you had robot points, you could have this toy. Cool car design and a not so bad robot design.

Love the mail away figures. I don't have the instructions, but everything is mint...... No yellowing.
