This little anti-war geologist Autobot was one of several Series 2 minibots to make their way into many a collection in 1985.
Beachcomber is pretty standard for a transformers mini-bot. Transformation is simple, but good, and the addition of real rubber tires helps him stand out and feel a bit higher quality than the rest.
An awesome piece for my collection. One of many minibots to add to my ever-growing collection. Roll out!
I really like the beachcomber mould. Its a bit fragile but fun a toy. Love the rub sign on these minibots.
Sure, all the minibots are "iconic," but how many of them have the distinction of a hippie scientist dune buggy? Put Beachcomber up there with Sky-Byte and Wheelie in the "Idiosyncratic Cybertronians" category, even though he doesn't speak in any sort of rhyme or metered verse. In a crossover with the Pixar Cars universe, he'd be best friends with Filmore.
Beachcomber is a little grey and blue dune buggy, who in the show was a peaceful geologist opposed to fighting.
overall a nice figure to have. Small and easily transformed, easy to break off the rool cage on him if not carefull.
great figure. love the details. perfect for display on shelf or desktop. must have for the collectors! love this guy, g1 is the best.
