Curator's Notes:

Maximal and hunter of Predacon X. Depthcharge doesn't follow orders well and wasn't a fan of how Primal handled things, but helped when needed.

This is a redeco of Terradive from the live-action movie toyline. This is already a great mold, with a complex transformation that collapses very neatly into bot mode. Coloring him into Depth Charge is genius, as it's a perfect fit.

I never understoof the hype for the Terradive mold. Now that I have it in hand, I can see why people like it, but the odd way that the joints work plus the flimsy feel to the trident (plus the fact that he's a TFCC exclusive) makes him of a display piece rather than something that I would want to play with. The mold works surprisingly well as an homage to Depth Charge from Beast Wars, but aside from the headsculpt, I still think that a retool of Generations Scourge would have served as a better Depthcharge figure. I'll be looking forward to the Protoform X freebie that TFCC will be sending out in 2014.
