Curator's Notes:

One of the first Bumblebee figures in years before the 2007 movie. This updated version of Bumblebee gets a jetpack and seadoo trailer. Part of the wave that was at first mostly ignored by collectors, only to have demand soar when the line was continued and became more popular.

Bumblebee is one of my favorite molds. I got this one in a lot off of Craiglist and it was obviously played with, but over all a great figure

I like this version of Bumblebee. Nice coloring easily transformes and looks great displayed in robot form.

A Peugeot 206 mold, even after 5 years from its original release, who would've thought is guy would be reincarnated so many times.

Weaker figure from the line. The jetski trailer thing is silly but better then mechtech crap.

They could have put a little more effort into his feet.

An excellent mold with some inspired design ideas, particularly the kid-like look of big shoes/feet and overalls. The first of many re-decos, which comes down to personal preference. If you want G1 accuracy, go with the Henkei release or the third party VW re-shell.

Got this one back in the day, before the live action movie was released. The classics line is one of my absolute favorites next to G1, and Armada. A very good classic look for bumblebee, it fits so well.

Even though I was sick of Bumblebee by the point I got around to buying this figure, I still needed a good classics representation of the character and this one fits the bill well. The leg articulation could be a bit better, but overall this is a pretty good figure that captures the essence of G1 Bumblebee. The trailer/jetpack is a good idea, although I am not really a fan of the look.

I like the classics collection, the transformations are fun and the figures were thoughtfully designed.

Oh how I miss a time when Bumblebee was not shelf warming in every stores. This little guy has a really nice transformation. I especially like how his wheels fold in his chest.

Though not as articulated and posable as the other figures in the army of Bumblebees, this figure gives you one of the more interesting alt modes for the little Autobot, and a robot mode that harkens back to the days when Bee was the spunky lil' bot that was always optimistically giving his 110%, rather than the co-dependent selectively mute murder-machine from the movies. Nice alt mode, simple but fun transformation and a decent bot mode with a cool accessory makes this figure a must-have.

A decent interpretation of Bumblebee before the movie turned him into a Camaro. He has a decent alt mode and looks okay in robot mode. The trailer/jet-pack is an interesting accessory.
