The classic G1 toy made available once again with two of his most iconic tapes: Lazerbeak and Ravage!

Soundwave superior, autobots inferior!

The Boba Fett of the Transformers universe in my opinion.

My favorite Decepticon and possibly favorite Transformer in general! Completely loyal to Megatron and housed two of the best cassette style tf's, Lazorbeak and Ravage.

When released, this was a great, cheap way to work an extra Soundwave into your collection, and included 2 cassettes (and cases). The only drawback though would be the double-cassette chest that leaves the panel protruding (which was previously a Soundblaster trait), which seems to drive G1 purists away from this item. Still, a great value for everything included, and also has a very nice box and display panel.

From my childhood memories, straight back onto my shelf...with some fancy packaging to boot. This Soundwave, with his cassetticons, is just as much fun as I remember and looks awesome on display in it's packaging (surrounded by an array of other Soundwaves of course!).

G1 Soundwave was by far one of the best Transformers ever made. Design, transformation, and articulation was better than most of his time. When he was reissued I had to have it considering I had the original. My only quirk with this reissue is the tape deck modification to hold 2 cassettes. (absolutely unnessesary) He can only be topped by the masterpiece soon to come.

What a great piece of Transformers history to reissue. Looks great in the package. The best feature on this updated Soundwave is both cassettes can be stored in his extra buff chest.

I originally got this to keep but then ended up giving it to a childhood friend and we opened it together. Fantastic mold with two great modes and excellent accessories. IF only his knees could bend backwards!

I got this one for my wife from toys r us when it was first released. Very nice set, there was no way I was gonna pass this up especially with such a good price.

Soundwave is an emblematic Decepticon and his play patern with the mini tapes is really interesting. This version is actually a repaint of Soundblaster(from Headmaster in Japan) so he has the place for two tapes in his chest. Also this was the first time that Hasbro released the two clear cassette cases that used to be Takara exclusives.

It's great. I just love it to death, if you want a g1 soundwave, but can't afford it, definitely consider this version.
