Show accurate but not that great. An average attempt at designing a triple-changder. Takara one at least has better paintjob.
Great concept, particularly the head. It suffers in the execution, though, which is a bit of a shame.
The Man-E-Faces gimmick seems like a good idea on paper, but it's not executed very well here... seems like the new Generations version has similar problems.
I was kind of disappointed that the wing kibble isn't mounted on his back, since it gets in the way a bit with posing and looks a bit awkward since it's attached to the arms. I love the tank mode though!
Blitzwing is one of my favorite characters in the Transformers universe, this is the characters second figure (First being G1 and third is Classics), having this come back made me happy. Can transform into tank and jet, the tank is more solid but the jet not so much, it does the job though.
Love this series. Glad to see a triple changer, especially one as cool as Blitzwing. Love every mode. Very show accurate.
The first Animated triple changer, he doesn't work quite as well as most of the other Animated figures. To make him a triple changer a lot of articulation was sacrificed, and both of the vehicle modes don't even look that good. Still, he's Blitzwing and all his faces are still there, so he's good enough.
Like all of the toys in the Animated line, this toy transforms very smoothly between modes, and doesn't skip a beat at having a third one added. There is a bit of a problem with the vehicle modes each looking...let's say 'highly suspect', but this has always been something of an issue with triple changers as the nature of the beast. Blitzwing is also a bit kibble-heavy in his robot mode. However, it's not really intrusive and as I've missed this gimmick dearly, MORE OF THESE, HASTAK.
The only triple changer of the Animated line, Blitzwing changes from plane to tank to bot, and has a rotating faceplate that allows you to swap between his multiple personalities.
We haven't gotten very good triplechangers in a long while so it was nice to get a homage Blitzwing. While not perfect and somewhat questionable vehicle modes, the figure is pretty solid overall. He has 3 different faces to match his character on-screen. Pretty happy with this guy
Hasbro pulled off a triple-changer quite nicely with this one. All alt modes and bot mode look really good; plus, Blitzwing has the Man-E-Faces thing going on in bot.
he is a great toy. the tank mode is great. the jet mode could use some work but still good, and teh robt is very nice just watch out his arms like to pop off
This is a fun, great looking toy that has a nice transformation and the 3 face's gimmick is great. All three modes look really good and the bot mode poses well, but the jet mode suffers a bit from the tank treads.
the 3 head gimmick works well and very poseable! perfect for photo-ops or posing.! transforms well too! except jet mode, which is a bit awkward because of tank threads.
I love the 3 head gimmick that this toy has adding again a lot of personality on this Animated figure. Like most triple changers this toy as 2 good modes and a weaker one, here it's the tank that fails but the jet and robot mode are a lot of fun. A must have on you TF Animated shelf.
A great concept that didn't quite come together. With Blitzwing, you get a triple changer where every mode seems to be compromised for the others. A jet mode with obvious tank treads, a mini tank that looks more like a snow blower with flame throwers on the top and a robot mode with so much jet kibble on his arms that even the most basic poses look awkward. Nifty three-sided face changing gimmick always gets a smile out of me though.
Very good figure overall, and very invocative of G1 Blitzwing. arm panels tend to flop around in robot mode.
