I like this "Jedi Duel" version of Darth Maul better than the "Sith Lord" version because the robes below the waist are sculpted on this one rather than cloth. Overall it's a pretty good sculpt and this figure looks pretty bada**, as it should. The creepy eyes and facial markings are represented rather well, but the paint details fail at the horns on his head. They're mostly black rather than 'horn' colored. He comes with the double bladed lightsaber appropriate to the scene from the movie that this figure represents.

The body on the figure is great, but unfortunately, like many of the Episode 1 darth mauls the head is not very detailed.

This was one of the first Darth Maul figures ever released and it is actually not bad. his plastic robes make him a little hard to pose, which is a shame for a figure representing such an acrobatic Sith Lord, but still a one of the better figures in this line.
