There isn't a lot of background story for these guys. Mysterians were one of those obscure toy lines from our youth that really made a lasting impression despite how odd they were. Basically, they're robotic aliens bent on dominating everything they come across. To avoid detection, they change into "mystery" shapes to blend in. Each Mysterian comes packed with secret compartments, tools, drones, and more. At the end of the day, it all comes down to the fact that they are just really really cool!
